Mt. Pisgah Arboretum Wildflower Festival 2017

Event Type: 

Nestled in the Howard Buford Recration Area, the Mt. Pisgah Arboretum is a lovely setting for the annual Wildflower Festival.  Bring the whole family!  The Native Plant Society of Oregon and Lane Community College create a massive educational display of fresh wildflowers, there is lots of local food, artisans, and even a stage with music and dancing!  There is so much to do - don't forget to stop by our booth.

Early Bird Spring Open House - Sunday

Come on either Saturday or Sunday to visit the nursery and gardens this weekend. 

This is biggest sale yet! Many plants will be on sale and we will have a big gooseberry and currant sale. Because we are moving, this spring is the last chance for you to get plants from us for an an unknown period of time. Stop by and poke around to see what surprises you may find. Enjoy spring wildflowers and our demo plantings. Don't miss it!

Mushroom Festival 2016 at Mt. Pisgah Arboretum

In addition to the Fern Hill booth stocked with plenty of perennials to put in the ground this fall, you'll find the largest display of identified and labeled mushrooms and other fungi anywhere around!  Feast on mushroom flavored dishes from local chefs, dance to local bands, and learn about our fungal friends from local mycologists who will lead you on fungal hikes into Buford Park.  Don't miss it!

Fall Open House October 2016

Join us at Bohemia Park near 10th and Washington for a festival celebrating local farmers. Farmers like us will have products and plants for sale.There will be lots of free fun family activities.  You can even stay for dinner and dancing, which starts at 5 PM. Celebrate our thriving community with us and peruse our great selection of healthy plants to find just what you need for your garden this fall. In fact, fall is the best time to plant perennials, shrubs and trees. More information here.
