Get to know and appreciate our native wildflowers more intimately.  Learn to recognize plant family characteristics and use dichotomous keys to properly identify flowering plants. We will interactively cover anatomy, terminology and taxonomy, and use hand lenses to get up close and personal with flower parts.

This class is taught by Susie Phelps, a Clinical Herbalist rooted in the Cottage Grove community.  With a deep understanding of human physiology, Northwest native plants and Permaculture, she brings them together for practical health care.  She is experienced in sustainable living skills and has been teaching people to “do it yourself” since 2005.

Workshops are outdoors so bring clothing and gear to be comfortable in rain or shine.  Please bring a sack lunch, notebook & pen, and your best friend.  For questions and to register please call Susie at 942-9406 or email Sooza22@hotmail.com.
