We love to create a learning atmosphere where teachers learn from students and we all learn from the land around us. We hold workshops on many different subjects such as Permaculture design, Forest Gardening, Edible Landscaping, and Winter Gardening. We also hold Open Houses so that the public can visit for a tour and see the diversity of the beds and greenhouses. Thanks for checking out our calendar!

The native plants in our area have provided food and medicine for people for centuries. We will walk in the forest and meadows, observe, discuss, and sample plants, their uses, and how to grow them. A great lesson in history and botany.
The workshop will be taught by Devon Bonady and Brian Basor. Devon has been growing and enjoying native plants for over eight years. Brian is a botanist specializing in NW natives.
The workshop will be held at Fern Hill Nursery and Botanical Sanctuary, just two miles west of Cottage Grove.
Cost: $35 per person
a $10 deposit is required to reserve your space
